However, Sancho took to social media to defend himself, claiming there 'are other reasons', why he was dropped that are not related to his performances in training.

“I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue,” Sancho posted as cited by Romano Fabrizio. “I have conducted myself in training very well in training."
"I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into. l've been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair! All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team," he added.

Sancho's Man United future

The Mirror reports that the England international is facing the prospect of being exiled at Man United following his public spat with ten Hag.

According to the publication, ten Hag has carved a niche for himself as an arch-disciplinarian who punishes players who undermine him.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford are some of the players who have previously suffered the wrath of the Dutchman.

Ronaldo was shown the door at Old Trafford after he publicly declared that he had no respect for the former Ajax boss.

On his part, Rashford was dropped for a game after he reportedly turned up late for a team meeting.

Meanwhile, Sancho has yet to hit the ground running since he joined United from Borussia Dortmund under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Hojlund, who joined United in the summer from Atlanta, made his debut for his new club over the weekend against the Gunners.
